Squig Sunday - A look at the different species of Squig - Hairy Squigs

I love this bit of fluff.  Hairy Squigs.  The reason that Orks have top knots, and some orks can even have beards.

This particular species of squig is very useful for things other than hair...they are also used as "mendin' squigs" by the Mad Doks.  Or, in our society, they would be stitches. So, I wondered, how do doks stop the squig from squirmin' around so much when they are trying to mend up the patient.  (Maybe that's why the doks started using staples, and bolts too. Could also be the reason some orks have the scars that they do...
Anyways, here is the original...

There was also mention of hairy squigs in the 'Ere We Go book (2nd ed.) it speaks more of the medicinal uses of the hairy squig, and I will post that as a separate article.  (Gotta love stretching out to get more filler content!)
Join us next week, when we will look at the infamous face-biter squig...sounds like one of the original Space Marine chapters...the Face Biters...oh, wait, that was the Flesh Eaters...nevermind...
