Brian Carlson is a true renaissance hobbyist! (I can even overlooks his love of Beakies!) His painting is clean, and has a nice “semi-realistic” feel to it. I really appreciate the skin technique on his boyz. Not only because most of my army has the first 2 steps done, (Ya, that is a bonus.) but, the fact that the end result is so earthy, and easy to obtain. His Mek Stompa is definitely worth taking a look at. Overall, I was quite impressed by the layout, content, and quality that his blog has set as a standard for itself. Therefore, it receives a Spiky Squig rating on the Squig Scale.
